The Seven Steps To Business Success

The Excelerator program is not for every business and every business is not for the Excelerator program.

 

There are a number of preliminary steps that are undertaken before an Excelerator program is offered and commences.

Step 1: Excelerator Application

Businesses interested in undetaking an Excelerator program should first complete the Excelerator Application form.

 

All Exceleartor Applications are carefully considered for their potemntial to undertake an Excelerator business development program.

 

There are no obligations or charges for making an Excelerator Application.

 

 

By completing the Excelerator Application form you will identify the major objectives, opportunities and challenges for your business.

 

The 35 point Business Success Quiz and will score your business success potential.

 

Areas requiring assistnce and a prioritised list of important Business To Do's will be identified.

 

This informative first step exercise will clearly identify many strategies which could be immediately implimented to grow the business.

 

 

All information provided will be treated strictly confidentially and will not be provided to any other party without your expressed permission.

 

 

Should the application be considered suitable the applicant will be offered a free initial  Business Potential Consultation.

Step 2: Business Excelerator Consultation

Businesses completing the Excelerator Application form and considered suitable for an Excelerator program will be offered a free Business Excelerator Consultation session.

 

The session will review the feedback from the Excelerator Application form and will identify, document and prioritise the major To Do's for future business success.

 

The Excelerator program will be discussed during the session.

 

The Business Potential Consultation is held at the premises of the business.

 

There is no charge for the Business Excelerator Consultation.

Step 3: Business Success Review

The Excelerator Business Success Review (BSR) is an initial comprehensive business diagnostic which examines a number of important business areas critical to growth and success.

 

The Business Success Review will identify the areas of current business activity that must be addressed in order to fast track business success. 

 

The Business Success Review examines 10 key areas of the business activity and analyses 10 important success factors in each area. The areas of business activity that are examined include Management, Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, Communication, Sales, Customer Service, IT and Operations.

 

The Business Success Review will identify whether an Excelerator program would be beneficial and applicable to your business.   The BSR will provide a number of documented recommended strategies required to fast track growth and success. It will  identify the various issues, activities and assistance required and the likely investment of time and money.

 

The BSR documents the various issues which an Excelerator program and its team members would be required to address. It will iindicate the suitability of the business and its owner for the Excelerator program and the Excelerator program’s suitability for the business.

 

The Excelerator program is only be offered to strictly qualified businesses after an initial Business Success Review has been completed.

 

During the BSR the Convenor will work through the Business Success Review manual during two "one on one" consultancy sessions with the business owner/s and key staff at their premises. 

Session 1: Examines and identifies the potential and iimpediments to business growth and success. The session will clearly identify the major areas of business activity that need to be addressed.

Session 2: Reviews the findings from initial session and discusses and prioritises potential growth strategies.

Between sessiosn the BSR is developped and documented.

 

There is a nominal initial up front investment for the provision of a Business Success Review of $1,500 plus GST.

 

Half the fee ($750 + GST) is due on commencement of the Business Success Review.

 

The balance of fee ($750 + GST) is due on satisfactory completion of the Business Success Review.

 

An additional sum of $1500 plus GST will be charged if an Excelerator program is not undertaken.

 

A period of three months or as agreed is allowed for the commencement on an Excelerator program.

 

The Business Success Review is an extremely valuable first step exercise which will provide important business insights irrespective of whether an Excelerator program is eventually undertaken.

Step 4: Financial Review

Following a Business Sussess Review businesses considered suitable for an Excelerator program willl be requested to undertake a comprehensive Financial Review provided by a qualified accountant.

 

The Financial Review identifies the key financial drivers of the business and its Key Performance Indicators. The Financial Review will also examine the likely revenues, costs, profit and cash flows for the business. The Financial Analysis will determine the growth potential  of the business and the possible returns on investment from an Excelerator program for all parties.  The Financia Review will determine the financial

viability, affordability and recommended fees structures for an Excelerator program.

 

A Financial Analysis meeting will be held at the businesses premises with a follow up session with the Convenor at the accountants premises. In the interim a Business Financial Model will be developed. Two years financial statements are requested to build the Business Finacial Model.

 

There is a nominal initial up front investment for the provision of a Financial Review of $1,500 plus GST.

 

Half the fee ($750 + GST) is due on commencement of the Financial Review.

 

The balance of fee ($750 + GST) is due on satisfactory completion of the Financial Review.

 

An additional sum of $1500 plus GST will be charged if an Excelerator program is not undertaken.

 

A period of three months or as agreed is allowed for the commencement on an Excelerator program.

Step 5: Personality Style Profile

Business success and the Excelerator program requires that business owners possess sound management skills, a passionate self belief and the aptitude and dedication to succeed.

 

Following the Financial Analysis businesses considered suitable for an Excelerator program will be requested to undertake a Personality Style Profile.

 

An Personality Style Profile will provide an understanding of the way the business owner/s behavioural characteristics are likely to impact upon the business, its management, leadership, decision making, customer service, brand personality and ultimately success.The Personaity Style Profile will identify the areas where the greatest gains may be achieved in the shortest possible time and the best way that the Excelerator program may support and assist the business and business owner.

 

The Personaity Style Profile is completed as a short, simple online questionnaire.

 

The results are strictly confidential and will be provided and discussed privately.

 

There is a charge for the Personallity Style Profile of $250 plus GST.

Step 6: Scope of Works

If the business is considered suitable to undertake an Excelerator program a detailed Scope of Works will be provided by the proposed Excelerator team members.

 

The Scope of Works documents each Excelerator team members proposed business development strategies, activities and the value of their proposed contribution.

 

There is no charge for the Scope of Works.

Step 7: The Excelerator Agreement

An Excelerator Agreement will be provided which details the terms and conditions of the proposed Excelerator program.

 

The Exelerator Agreement will be negotiated and agreed between the business and the Excelerator Convenor. The Excelerator orogram will commence when the Excelerator Agreement is signed.

 

There is no charge for the Exelerator Agreement.
